Not a navel gazing post I promise, though I know I am prone to that. If I looked inward anymore I’d disappear. I spent the last five years, working out how to focus and churn out the books, and build my platform and all those crazy things you need to do to launch an author career. The result : not only have I become an introvert but I’ve pretty much dropped off the social scene and social media scene.
So, come 2018 — my focus is going to be, to get out there. Get a book out a month, then get out there and meet people. And I so want to travel, and play and just be me, you know?
Well, part of setting up for 2018 was getting together with a group of people and work out a bit of a vision board for the coming year.
Now, look, it seems all ‘new age’ to have your own vision board. But hey, if the brands you work for have their vision boards, don’t you owe it to yourself to put down the vision of the life you want? More of that in another post. For now I want to share the results of a short exercise we did.

- Who are you? I am an artist/ creator who loves to be free. Who doesn’t owe the world anything. Who loves what I am and who I am with. Who values simplicity beyond anything else.
- Who are you? I am whatever I want to be. I am the keeper of my own time. I am what I am. Take me or leave me. I am ready for challenges. I am free.
- Who are you? I am not what you think me to be. I am ready. I am me. I am happy and fulfilled. I am delirious with joy.
Gah! see what I mean… that last Who are you? that is me!
